What audio formats are supported?

AudioWhiz supports all common audio formats: MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, AAC, AIFF, AMR, 3GP, and many others. We also accept video files (MP4, AVI, MOV) from which we automatically extract the audio track.

What is the maximum file size?

Accepted Answer

The maximum size depends on your plan: Basic up to 50 MB and 20 minutes per file, Pro up to 100 MB and 2 hours, Premium up to 500 MB and 5 hours.

Does AudioWhiz download YouTube or TikTok videos?

Accepted Answer

No. AudioWhiz is neither a converter nor a download tool: you never get a video or audio file. When you paste a link, our servers only fetch the video's sound, for the time needed to transcribe it. For YouTube, only the audio track is fetched. When TikTok does not offer a separate audio track, the file is fetched temporarily to extract its sound. In every case, this temporary file is deleted as soon as the transcription ends: only the text and the analyses you requested are saved in your account. You remain responsible for the content you transcribe: use AudioWhiz for videos you created or have the right to use.

What are the different pricing plans?

We offer 3 plans: Basic, free (60 minutes per month, files up to 50 MB); Pro at €12/month or €122/year (1,200 minutes per month, files up to 100 MB); Premium at €25/month or €255/year (3,000 minutes per month, files up to 500 MB). Paid plans unlock the advanced AI features.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings > Subscription > Manage subscription, then click 'Cancel subscription'. You will keep access until the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued.

Can I change my plan at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time. The change is immediate and you will be billed pro rata. To downgrade, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
